Kakuzi

Kakuzi PLC is a listed Kenyan agricultural company, trading on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE: KUKZ) and the London Stock Exchange. Its head office and main operation are at Makuyu, with orchards in Murang'a County and a tea estate in Nandi Hills. Kakuzi grows, packs and exports avocados, in both green-skin and black-skin cultivars. They are packed in 4 kg or 10 kg cartons and shipped in refrigerated containers, with an average of about 30 days to market. The company's operations also cover macadamia, blueberries and tea, as well as livestock and commercial forestry.
