OLVE'True Shea is a natural, pure shea butter obtained from the kernels of the shea tree (Butyrospermum parkii), made in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso, from nuts bought directly from women collectors and eco-refined in France. Rich in oleic and stearic acid and in unsaponifiable compounds, it is used in face, body, hair, sun and lip care, soaps and baby products, and in food. Fair trade supply chain with a higher-than-market guaranteed minimum price. Available as a refined butter in COSMOS approved organic, EU organic and Fair for Life versions. Production capacity 2,500 tons of shea butter a year. OLVEA is a member of the Global Shea Alliance.
